The coordinator SZIU is a public university with the main campus located at Godollo, 30 km from Budapest. SZIU has 6 faculties, about 2000 teachers, researchers and 15,000 students. The Molecular Animal Biotechnology Laboratory was established recently in conjunction with the appointment of Andras Dinnyes (AD) as full professor. The laboratory has inherited several major projects from AD’s previous position at the Agricultural Biotechnology Center, including Wellcome Trust funding that has provided excellent equipment for the team.
